The Telecaster is the first commercially successful
solid-body electric guitar. It was originally named Broadcaster, but Gretsch
claimed that they own the trademark so it was renamed to Telecaster.
Telecaster Thinline
The Thinline was created to address the problem of limited supply of lightweight ash. The ash wood available at the time was heavy so they created a hollow version of the Telecaster.

Cool! Here's a trivia for you: did you know that the first teles were made of pine? (1946-1948)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the trivia! Pine wood is good and they used it lately on the highly praised telecaster classic vibe. However, pine is a softwood so it could get dents easily,
ReplyDeleteLove the design of Mustang
ReplyDeleteLove the design of this acoustic guitar product . I would love to add it to my growing collection of Fender acoustic guitar models.
